Too Faced Then and Now Eye Shadow Palette

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the Too Faced Then And Now Eye Shadow palette. This palette retails for $69.00 CND at Sephora Canada. You get a total of 20 eye shadows. The top row with the circle pans are supposed to be some of Too Faced original eye shadows, while the bottom row with the square pans are supposed to be modern re imagined versions. The circle pans have about 1 gram of product while the square pans have about 1.25 grams of product.

All swatches are done with just a finger. The shades are as follows.
Twinkle, Pixie Dust, Dirt Bag, Rizzo, Zsa Zsa

Next up is Temper Temper, Trixie, Villain, Ice Queen, Ooh and Ahh

Next is Glitter Donut, Lost Boys, NSFW, Gretchen and Reality Star

Finally we have I Can't Even, Gigi, Shady Bitch, Chill Out and Ohh La La (which are the black and sand colors)

I have major issues with this eye shadow palette and am super disappointed in it, especially with it being my first purchase from Too Faced. First off there is the packaging. The palette is way bigger than it needs to be, it's almost a foot long. Too Faced could have done a much more compact design, there are only 20 eye shadows here, not 50. Now I don't know if this is all of the palettes, but you can tell that mine was put together in a hurry. The pans aren't aligned with the openings in the cardboard properly and many of them aren't properly glued down, making them move. Pretty much every eye shadow I have had to take out of the palette, realign it and use duct tape to tape the pans down. Not at all impressive for basically a $70 palette.
The eye shadows themselves are a hit and a miss. The glitter shades like glitter donut, lost boys, nsfw, reality star, shady bitch and chill out have a INSANE amount of glitter fallout. Like I am talking once the glitter particles get on your skin, they're not going away any time soon. After doing the swatches both my arms and hands are covered in particles, not cute. Pigmentation is a hit or a miss. The mattes are super lacking in pigment and so are some of the shimmers, while some shimmers are much more pigmented then you expected and you mess up your look. Villain for example, in the pan looks like a nice plum but is almost non exsistant once you put it on your eye or even swatch it. The glitter shades are a pain in the ass to apply as well. To get them to be pigmented you basically have to use your finger, which is a waste of product and messy, even a wet brush doesn't really do anything. I was going to return this to Sephora but I'm pretty sure that they won't take it back since I had to reassemble the palette. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother with this eye shadow palette.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick. The shade I have here is number 81 -Day Dreaming. This lipstick retails for about $18.00 CND and has 1.69 fluid ounces of product. This product has a large range of shades and comes in matte, satin and metallic finishes.

Day Dreaming is a dark mauve shade, a little darker than my natural lip color. The formula feels pretty comfortable and dries down pretty quickly. I love that this doesn't make my dry lips look even drier like I know some liquid lipsticks do. (Ahem...Stila...) This has pretty good staying power as well. I both ate and drank with this lipstick on and didn't really see much transfer. A huge plus for me.
I honestly think is a really good liquid lipstick. It's not crazy expensive, feels great, lasts long and you are guaranteed to find a color you like with it's huge range of shades. I actually plan on getting more shades because I like this so much.

BH Cosmetics Urban Luxe Warm To Go

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the BH Cosmetics Urban Luxe Warm Eyes To Go Palette. I got this as a free gift with one of my orders with BH, but I believe this retails for $4.99USD. In this you get 0.19 ounces of product, it is cruelty free and is made in China.

As you can see from the swatches this mini eyeshadow palette is pretty light and natural, perfect for one of those no makeup makeup looks. The quality of these eyeshadows are much better than what you get in the 120 palettes from BH Cosmetics. These aren't really my colors though, they are to natural and look pretty similar to one another. I also wish that there was a nice dark brown in this little palette, something to darken up the outer v or the crease. This just isn't a palette that I personally reach for. Someone who is new to makeup or someone who isn't into bold looks might get more use out of this than me. There is nothing wrong with the shadows themselves, they are nicely pigmented and easy to work with, pretty much the same quality as the Foil Eyes To Go. This is just much to light for me.

Ipsy Glam Bag August 2018 - What I got

Hello everyone, it is finally that time again. Here is what I got in my August Ipsy Glam Bag.

First up we have these two sheet masks from Lab For You. Hey man you can never have to many sheet masks.

Next we have this teeny tiny face moisturizer from Purlisse. It literally smells like watermelon you guys, I love it.

Next up we have this tiny mascara from Mac. I'm actually kind of excited for this as I've never tried anything from Mac before.

Next is this eye shadow from Ofra in the shade blue jeans. I'm super stoked for this as this is not only full size but it is worth $15. That's over half the cost of the bag.

Finally we have this full sized Huda Beauty liquid lipstick. The shade I got is called Trophy Wife. You guys this is a $26 liquid lipstick. Holy crap.

You guys, I am super impressed with this bag. The value is basically double the cost of the bag. It's crazy. What did you guys get in your glam bag?

Nails INC Unicorn Nail Polish Duo

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the Nails INC Unicorn Nail Polish Duo. You can get this nail polish from Sephora and it retails for $19.00 CND. Each polish contains 0.47 fluid ounces of product. The company claims that these nail polishes are formulated without parabans and they are made in Luxembourg. The shade on the left is called Rainbow Wishes and the shade on the right is called Dream Dust.
Both of these colors are super pretty, I have nothing in my nail polish like them. Dream Dust is super pigmented and you could get away with doing one coat if you wanted, though I prefer doing two. Rainbow Wishes you need to do three coats to make it opaque. Not the end of the world to me as these polishes dry somewhat quickly.
Now I don't expect a nail polish to not chip, I do manual labor so regardless any nail polish will chip on me. However within two hours of me putting this nail polish on, I did notice that Dream Dust had rubbed away a bit on one finger. Maybe I should have waited a bit longer before I did the dishes, I don't know. Once I re applied the nail polish though I didn't seem to have that problem again.
Nails INC has a lot of interesting colors at Sephora that I would love to get. However, I don't really think that these are worth the price. I feel like they perform very similar to the cheaper nail polishes you can get at drugstores. Unless you are a collector like me, you don't need these polishes, but I like nail polish so I personally will probably get more.

Covergirl Trunaked Dazed Eyeshadow Palette

Hey there everyone, today i will be reviewing the Covergirl Truenaked Eyeshadow Palette in Dazed. This palette was made in Canada (yay) and is dermatology tested. You get 0.23 ounces of product and this eyeshadow palette retails for about $9.00 to $12.00CND. Pricey I know especially when you only get 8 eyeshadows.
Sadly these eyeshadows don't have names. All of these swatches were done with a finger and no base what so ever.
Although for the most part, the eyeshadows swatched pretty good when applied to the eyes they don't perform so well. Not only are theses somewhat chalky they are chunky as well and don't even get me started on the fallout. You get a crazy amount of fallout that is mostly glitter, making it a pain in the butt to get rid of. When using a brush trying to get these on the eyes, it takes a lot to make them pigmented. I have used these with a white base and a wet brush and I still have to work at it to make them pigmented. I get that this is a drugstore eyeshadow but this was just embarrassing. Now I don't know if the other eyeshadow palettes in the Trunaked range are this bad I certainly hope not. If by some chance they happen to go on sale, I wouldn't mind trying another palette just to see. This particular eyeshadow palette though, I don't recommend. again I'm going to have to point you in the direction of Colourpop if you want cheap but good eyeshadow.

Anti Haul 2 - Shit I'm Not Going Buy

Hello everyone! Today is another Anti Haul! aka Shit I'm Not Going To Buy! If you don't know what this is, every month or so I show you guys what new/hot releases I'm just not going to buy! So without further adeu, lets look at the shit I'm not going to spend my money on (and you shouldn't too).

first up! the jacylin hill x morphe vault eye shadow collection. honestly, i don't see anything super special about these palettes. these palettes have been done before and it's frankly kind of boring too me.

next up, the beauty blender bounce foundation. frankly i'm just up to supporting a company that has a shitty foundation shade range. not my cup of tea fam. maybe once they get their heads out their ass it might be worth to give it a shot but until then. you ain't getting my money beauty blender.

next up is this highlighter from kat von d. i'm sorry but i don't think a teal highlighter will look that good on my skin....or anyones for that matter. what is with companies doing really weird highlighter shades? i just don't get it.

next is this born this way concealer by too faced. call me cheap but i don't want to pay almost $40.00 for a concealer, not to mention when i look at the shades...i don't think there is one light enough for me.

next is this tiny eye shadow palette from natasha denona. sorry but i'm not spending $30.00 on five eye shadows. maybe if i ever win the lottery?

finally we have this lipstick from bite beauty. although it looks pretty i just don't see myself wearing a metallic gold lipstick. i don't even think it'd even look good on me to be  honest. it would literally just sit there and collect dust.

Doucce Luscious Lip Stain

How's it going everyone? Today I will be reviewing the Doucce Luscious Lip Stain. I got this in my June Ipsy glam bag, in the shade Passion Peach. The full size of this comes with the stain and a lipgloss topper for $28.00USD. There are currently 19 shades in the range with everyday, bold, bright and different shades.

First things first, I would exactly call this peach, it's much more orange in person which does not look good on me at all. I wish that I had received a more wearable color in my glam bag. The formula of this is pretty good. It lasts a REALLY long time, even staining (hence the fact that it's called a stain) and actually feels pretty comfortable on the lips. This is also super pigmented and you don't need to do multiple layers to get an opaque coat on your lips. I'm just really bummed that this isn't my color. I personally wouldn't pay the $30.00 but if I somehow got anther one of these in a subscription I wouldn't complain. Just send me a more wearable color, like a pink or a nude.

Violet Voss Flamingo Pro Eye Shadow Palette

Hello everyone, today I am going to review the Flamingo Eye Shadow palette by Violet Voss.

In this palette you get 20 1.8 gram eye shadows that include matte and shimmer. This palette is paraban, sulfate and phthalate free.

First row we have... Flamingos, Donut, Flip Flops and Bikini.

Next row is Oceanfront, Tidal Wave, Beach Ball and Watermelon.

Next is Lemonade, Pineapple, Popsicle and Sunbathe.
Next is Surf, Coral, Island and Sand.
Finally we have Seashell, Pinwheel, Sandals and Sunnies.

The formula of these eye shadows is the same as what I've seen in other Violet Voss palettes. Super soft, decently pigmented and easy to work with. These colors just scream summer to me and I am in love. Oceanfront and Surf are my fave shades and I definitely don't have anything in my collection like Surf. I really like too that they added a black so you could smoke out any look if you wanted too. The shimmers, while already pretty pigmented are insane when you use a wet brush. I have been using this palette a lot and I seriously love it. If you like using color, you need this palette as I feel there aren't many eye shadow palettes out there that are like this.

Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara

Hey guys how's it going? Today I will be reviewing the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. This mascara retails for about $7-$8 CND and you get 0.44 fluid ounces of product. You can get this in three different colors; Very Black, Black and Black Brown.
First off I love the applicator on this mascara. It does a good job of combing through the lashes and I will even pair this with a mascara that clumps just to get rid of them. Sadly though, for me this doesn't add much length or volume to my lashes. I do notice though that my lashes aren't stuck together like they do when I use most mascaras. Because of this I like to pair this mascara with another like the Lash Blast Volume. This mascara combo is my holy grail. By itself this lasts pretty good as does the waterproof version. I prefer the normal mascara though as the waterproof version makes my lashes crunchy. I actually don't think you need the waterproof one as I've cried or have accidentally gotten my face a bit wet and the normal version did not move. I do recommend this to anyone, especially since it's drugstore and most people should be able to afford it.

Steve Laurant Blueberry Eyeshadow

Hey guys! Today I will be reviewing the Steve Laurant single eyeshadow in the shade Blueberry.

Here is the swatch. The first swatch was done with a finger and the second with a brush.

As you can see this eyeshadow is SUPER shimmery, despite that though there isn't much fallout. It's pretty soft and packs on the lid pretty well. I do recommend using a light colored base though to really make this eyeshadow pop.
This eyeshadow retails for $16.00 on the Steve Laurant website. I can't find to much information about the product besides that it is made in China and that there is 0.12 ounces of product. I got mine from my June Ipsy glam bag. The website too looks kind of sketchy, like it's unfinished. It's kind of sad as this is a pretty good eyeshadow and I really want to try the shade Green Apple. It does look like you can buy these eyeshadows from the Ipsy website, sadly though they only ship to the United States, so the rest of us are shit out of luck.

Kat Von D I Am Divine Eyeshadow Palette

hello everyone, today i will be reviewing the kat von d i am divine eyeshadow palette. this palette is currently on sale at sephora canada for $27.60. there are 8 eyeshadows in this palette, three of those are matte.

this palette, being from kat von d is of course vegan and cruelty free.

here is the first set of swatches, each swatch is done with a finer and no base what so ever on the skin.
for this first set we have babs, hard magic, baltimore and waters.

next is filthy, pink glamigos, female trouble and hairspray.

as you can see from the swatches, the matte shades are pretty disappointing. they are not very pigmented, kind of chalky and are a pain in the butt to work with. i'm super bummed about this as i had high hopes for waters. for the most part, the shimmers are pretty good. i wish that pink flamingos was a bit more pigmented but it can be built and will eventually look like the color in the pan. the shimmers apply much more smoothly and don't kick back in the pan like the mattes do. i am incredibly disappointed in this palette it is no where as good as the pastel goth palette. the mattes in the pastel goth palette are pigmented, smooth and easy to work with. these shadows are just meh. i can get better eyeshadows for a cheaper price from colorpop. although the colors are pretty, i wouldn't waste your money on this eyeshadow palette.

meech and mia pressed eye shadow

hello everyone today i will be reviewing the meech and mia pressed eye shadow single in the shade taupe. i got this in one of my ipsy glam...
