Gone But Not Forgotten: Colourpop All I See Is Magic

Hello everyone, with companies now starting to launch their holiday collections, it's time for us to remember the Colourpop All I See Is Magic eye shadow palette. This was their holiday palette for 2017 and my first purchase from Colourpop. This palette is cruelty free and made in the USA.

For the first row of swatches we have Top Notch, Treat Yourself, 11:11, Now and Zen and Go Wish.

Next is Pitter Patter, Wishful Winking, Something Special, Twinkle Toes and Tinsel Town.

Finally we have Never Never, Imperial, T-Cup, Big Spoon and Save it for Later.

Honestly this palette is what made me fall in love with Colourpop. The formula on these eye shadows are amazing. They are pigmented, easy to work with and don't have to much fallout. With this palette too their is a dupe for Urban Decay's Lounge single eye shadow, the shade in this palette is Twinkle Toes. This was I believe only $20.00 USD as well, which is pretty good with how good these eye shadows are. Colourpop is pretty affordable I regardless of the shadow finish, they all preform just as well. I highly recommend this brand if you haven't tried their eye shadows.

September Ipsy - What I Got

hello everyone today i will be showing what i got in my september ipsy glam bag. ipsy is a $10 a month ($20 in canada) monthly subscription where you get makeup, haircare and skincare products. most of these are sample sizes but you can also get full size stuff as well. anywho, on to the products!

first we have these two sheet masks from korean beauty brand brtc or bio remedies therapeutic cosmetics. i'm not against sheet masks but i've been getting them in every single bag. kind of want something a little different.

next is this brush from luxie. it's the harley quinn detail flat definer number 10. i'm not really sure what i would use this for at least on the eye. it could be used for concealer if you are someone who does face makeup. i'm not so this brush is a little useless to me.

next is this eye shadow single from winky lux. the shade is called ursula, a dark shimmery purple. i love the packaging on this, the little kitty cat is just to cute!

next is this mini lip glaze from trestique in the shade english rose. not a bad color and i love how the packaging makes it looks like a pencil.

finally we have this nail polish from trust fund beauty in the shade mermaid vibes. when i saw the name of this on the website i thought it was going to be something turquoise not purple. oh well. nice color though as it has a blue/pink shift to it.

so this is what i got for my september ipsy glam bag. what did you guys get? overall i thought this month was ok. the brush is useless to me and i am kind of tired of getting sheet masks. i defiantly can't wait to try the nail polish and the eye shadow.

Luxie 245 Small Shader Brush

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing the Luxie 245 Small Shader brush. I got this eyeshadow brush in my June Ipsy Glam bag. This brush retails for $15.77USD and is vegan,  cruelty free and synthetic.
I am super impressed with this brush and I honestly wish I had more than one. It is well built, doesn't shed and keeps it's shape after cleaning. It is great to use in the inner corner, doing a halo or precise work on your eyeshadow look. The handle isn't super long either so you can really get in there for doing complicated looks. Sadly because this is pretty expensive once it's converted to Canadian, I won't be buying any. I hope though that maybe I'll get another one in an Ipsy bag. I think if you do have the coin to spend, or if you are in the states you should give this brush a try. You will get a good use out of it for sure.

Maybelline Lasting Drama by Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner

Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing the maybelline lasting drama by eyestudio gel eyeliner. The shade I have is blackest black, but you can get brown and charcoal.
This claims to be 24 hour wear, smudge proof and waterproof. You get 3 grams of product and this was made in the USA. Depending on were you buy it, the price of this seems to range from around $9.00 to $12.00.
The brush provided in this is....ok. It's not super great especially if you want to do a precise wing. I personally prefer to use a angled brush. The black is super opaque which I love. I hate it when you get a black liner and it is dull. I will say that this is not going last you 24 hours, and it's also not smudge proof. Although this doesn't transfer to the upper lid, like some eyeliners if you touch the liner, you will get it on your fingers. Not to mention falling asleep in this stuff, your going to wake up looking like a racoon. This does seem to stay on the water line pretty well, especially if you have watery eyes, I don't think though that it will stay on if you go for a swim. A huge bonus for me with this eye liner is that it doesn't bother my eyes. My eyes will water like a rain storm when I put on eye liner, but this, nothing. If your also not that great at eye liner, like I am, it makes doing a wing pretty easy because of how creamy and easy it goes on. This product for me is a must have and has gotten me interested in working with eyeliner again.

Pacifica Coconut Infused Blush Duo

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing this blush/bronzer duo from Pacifica. Sadly I can't find much information on this product. I got this in my july ipsy glam bag, which I wasn't super impressed with as on my profile it says no face products. All I can tell you (acording to the label) is that this is vegan and cruelty free. The shades are Beaming and Tenderheart and this was made in China. It also looks like you get 8 grams of product.

For this first set of swatches I didn't blend it out so you get an idea as to what the colors look like. The top one is supposed to be the bronzer and the bottom, the blush.

Here are the swatches blended out.
The bronzer is a bit too light for me and too warm, with how much red is in my face I prefer using cooler tones on that rare occasion that I bronze. The blush on the other hand is too dark and not my color at all. If I'm going to use a blush, it's going to be a light pink.
The product feels smooth but just from swatching and letting it sit on my arm, I feel like it wouldn't last very long. Again blush and bronzer aren't my thing, I'm only doing this review because it came in my ipsy bag. I don't know if Pacifica was just trying to get rid of old stock, but as I stated above I literally can not find anything on this product. I can't even tell you how much it is. This is going to my mom that's for sure.

Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Polish

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy nail polish. The two shades I have here are Gambling Heart (left) and What Happens In Vegas (right). With this nail polish you get 0.4 fluid ounces of product and it is made in the USA. Depending on where you buy it it seems to range from $6.00 to $9.00. There are both shimmer and cream shades in this range.
First things first, I do not expect a nail to not chip on me. I do manual labour four days a week for my job so chipping is going to happen. Anyway, these go on pretty opaque for shimmer shades, I managed to get away with only using two coats. The drying time with these as well is pretty damn fast, I'd say about 5 minutes for the purple and a little bit longer for the red.
Of course as expected when I went to work the next day the polish chipped a bit, but not super bad. It wasn't until day two at work that it started to really chip. A note though, that on the day I did my nails not long after they dried I did the dishes and the held up pretty good through that. Most nail polish I use will almost always chip a tiny bit at the ends when I do the dishes.
All in all, I think it's a pretty good nail polish. However, I would only buy it again when it goes on sale as $9.00 is a little much for me.
Have any of you tried this nail polish? If so, what do you think of it?

Smashbox Always on Liquid Lipstick

hello everyone! today i will be reviewing the smashbox always on liquid lipstick. the shade i have is called stepping out. i got this sample size in my july ipsy glam bag. the full size of this product is 0.13 fluid ounces and is $28.00. currently there are matte and metallic shades.

as you can see from the swatch, this is well...brown. it is so not my color, it makes me look even paler than i am and kind of sickly. the formula is alright, pretty comfortable on the lips, doesn't feel drying. this doesn't last as long as i would hope though. this will transfer on to whatever you are drinking or eating. i'm not a super huge fan of the color range either, i feel there are a lot more colors that could be there. less grey tons and more pinks!

Ella Eden Eye Shadow Single

Hello everyone, today I will be reviewing the Ella Eden eye shadow single in the shade Harmoy. I got this eye shadow from my July Ipsy Glam Bag, though you can buy it on the Ella Eden website for $14.00. There is 3 grams of product with a shelf life of 36 months. This product is cruelty free but that is all I can find out about it.

Here are the swatches. The one on top was done with a finger and no base. The one on the bottom was done with a shader brush and no base.
The pigment on this is decent and the texture is nice and smooth. I do recommend using a light colored base to make this eye shadow stand out more. If that's not enough using your finger to apply, or getting the brush wet will defiantly help. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging, screw on tops while good at keeping the eye shadow sealed are just a pain in the butt. Oh ya, this was also made in China. Which is something I know a lot of people will not be a fan of. Anyway, it's a nice little shade, a light shimmery peach which is perfect to pop in the centre of the lid.

Elizabeth Mott Tapered Blending Brush

Hello everyone, today I am reviewing the Elizabeth Mott Tapered Blending brush. I got this in my July Ipsy Glam bag, but it normally retails for $16.00 on the Elizabeth Mott website. The bristles on this brush are 100% synthetic and this brush is also cruelty free.
This is actually a pretty nice brush. The bristles are soft and it doesn't really shed, which I love. Nothing pisses me off more than when a brush sheds, especially when it's being used. Anyway..this works great to blend out eye shadow. I personally like to use this for blending out shadow on the outer crease, it does a good job at softening whatever shadow I use there. Now would I say go out and buy it? I mean maybe if your rich then go right ahead. If your not made of money like myself then you should probably wait. Do a subscription like Ipsy, they seem to send out a lot of brushes like this and who knows maybe you will get it too. I know I certainly wouldn't complain about getting this brush again.

meech and mia pressed eye shadow

hello everyone today i will be reviewing the meech and mia pressed eye shadow single in the shade taupe. i got this in one of my ipsy glam...
