Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish

hello everyone, today i will be reviewing the trust fund beauty nail polish in the shade mermaid tears. i got this in my september ipsy glam bag. now i can't actually find this particular nail polish on both ipsy and the trust fund beauty website, but based on the price of their other nail polishes, i'm going to guess that is about $15. this nail polish is vegan, cruelty free, non gmo, and 10 free. apparently that means it's free of 10 chemicals that are bad for your health or something. you also get 0.50 fluid ounces of product.
anyway the shade appears to be a dusty lavender with a pink and gold shift. it is quite a sheer formula so if you want this to be fully opaque your going to need to do at least three coats. you could use this as a top coat on something if you wanted to, to give a cream some pizazz. this takes forever to set and i hate that. i'm not being a drama queen either this literally took an hour to fully set on my nails which of course while setting moved around. that is not ok with me you guys. i mean the color is pretty but i don't have time to wait all day for a nail polish to set. i have a feeling i therefore won't be reaching for this very much. once it actually dried it does seem to last a decent amount on me before chipping. that's not something i'm super concerned about as i do manual labour and regardless nail polish is going to chip. if you are someone who doesn't do anything for a living this seems like it would last a decent time. i just don't think this is worth the money though, the time it takes to set is not cool.
